Beer City Half San Diego takes place on March 13, 2027 at Tecolote Shores on Mission Bay, 1740 E Mission Bay Dr., San Diego, CA 92109. The festival day includes multiple running options, beer tasting, and an afternoon brewery shindig.

Distances offered:

• 13.1 Miles Half Marathon, loops Fiesta Island twice and runs along the bayfront.
• 6.2 Miles 10k, route goes out along the water and bayfront.
• 3.1 Miles 5k, route runs along the waterfront.
• 1 Mile Beer Stroll, a gentle mile that starts and ends with beer.
• 1 Mile Beat the Beast Beer Mile, a competitive beer mile format.

Event inclusions and notes: Participants receive a Beer City race t-shirt, tasting glass, and The Key to Beer City finishers medal for many distances. Unlimited tasting is available at the finish in a 7-ounce tasting cup for entries that include tasting. The Beer Stroll is not timed and attendance is not tracked. The Beat the Beast Beer Mile requires drinking four 12-ounce beers with a quarter-mile run between each; no shotgunning is allowed, and losing to the Beer City Beast or "losing your cookies" results in elimination. A Beer Tasting Only option provides unlimited tasting without a run. An afternoon Shindig takes place at Seek Brewing Company; that ticket includes the first beer and a special Beer City pin and the location is 3052 El Cajon Blvd, Suite C, San Diego, CA 92104.
