Beer City Half San Diego
The Beer City Half San Diego takes place on Saturday, February 14, 2026. The event is held at Tecolote Shores on Mission Bay in San Diego.
The day includes several distinct activities. The main morning events are:
- Half Marathon
- 10k
- 5k
- Beer Stroll, described as a 1-mile walk around Tecolote Shores.
Later in the day, the Beat the Beast Beer Mile activity involves drinking four 12-oz beers while running a mile, with a "Beast" chasing participants. In the afternoon, there is a Beer Tasting Only option, and a party called SHINDIG which includes music, food trucks, and games. The Beermazing Race is a separate game where participants visit five brewers between 1 PM and 5 PM, drinking a pint and finding clues.
Registration for various parts of the event is available. All participants in the running and Beer Stroll events receive a shirt, a "Key to Beer City" finisher's medal, a custom tasting glass, and unlimited tasting at the post-run festival.
