About the race
Beer City Half San Diego is a festival of running and beer tasting at Tecolote Shores on Mission Bay in San Diego. Multiple race formats and non running options take place at the same venue on March 13, 2027. The event is sold out. Entries for the running events include a Beer City race t shirt, a tasting glass, and the Key to Beer City finishers medal.
Running entries also include unlimited tasting served in a 7 ounce tasting cup. Distances and event types: - Half Marathon 13.1 miles loops Fiesta Island twice then follows the water and Bayfront - 10k 6.2 miles follows the water and Bayfront - 5k 3.1 miles runs along the waterfront - Beer Stroll 1 mile casual walk with shirt glass and Key to Beer City - Beat the Beast Beer Mile 1 mile with four 12 ounce beers and 1/4 mile runs between drinks Additional options include a Beer Tasting Only ticket that provides unlimited tasting, and a Shindig at Seek Brewing Company that includes the first beer and a special Beer City pin.
