The Mitchell Thorp Foundation presents the 17th Annual Warrior Spirit 5K Run/Walk & Family Festival on February 7, 2026, at Poinsettia Park, 6600 Hidden Valley Road, Carlsbad, CA. The event is organized as a 5 kilometer run and walk with a mapped course.
Purpose and fundraising

On-site information
There are three parking lots inside Poinsettia Park, with additional nearby street parking and parking at Pacific Rim Elementary school. Packet pickup is available at Road Runner Sports in Carlsbad on the day before the event and again on the morning of the event. Dogs are not permitted; strollers are allowed. The event is planned rain or shine and will include food, vendors, a DJ and bands, a kids area with inflatable jumpies, performance groups, and an aerial entry involving performers and several Navy Seals.
