Vancouver Historic Half
The event features three distances run on Stanley Park's Seawall: a 5K, a 10K, and a Half Marathon. This is the 16th annual edition, scheduled for late November 2026. Registration for 2026 includes a strict participant cap and tiered fees by registration period; online registration closes one week before the race or when the cap is reached. There is no race day registration.
The course uses the fully paved Seawall that loops around Stanley Park's north, west, and south coastlines, with views of the city, the northern mountains, and Lion's Gate Bridge. Stanley Park covers about 400 hectares (1,000 acres) and lies close to the downtown core, with cedar, hemlock, and fir trees forming the park landscape.
Event services listed include individual timing, a souvenir finishing medal and swag while supplies last, on-course hydration within 5 km, post-race snacks, and a secure course with city permits. Participants are instructed to attach the timing tag to their shoe laces and to return the tag after the race to avoid a replacement fee. A bag check is available for a cash donation. The event note reminds runners that this is a fall/winter race and to prepare with appropriate clothing and footwear. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
