Event overview
The SCPC Vancouver Historic races produced by Try Events take place Sunday, November 30, 2025 at Lumberman's Arch Concession in Stanley Park, Vancouver, BC. The event includes the following distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
This edition is the 15th annual race and supports the Strathcona Community Policing Centre. Online registration closes one week before race day or when the supply cap is reached. A Yellow Bib charity option is available; it omits swag and the finisher medal in exchange for a charity donation.
Course, timing and logistics
The routes use Stanley Park’s fully paved Seawall and park pathways. The half marathon circles the Seawall twice, the 10K once, and the 5K follows the Dovian Park loop. The course offers views of the city, nearby mountains, and the Lion’s Gate Bridge. The course is open for three hours.
The event uses chip timing; participants must attach the timing tag to shoe laces and return the tag after the race or face a replacement charge. Results are intended to be posted within 24 hours. There are hydration stations placed within 5 km intervals and a bag check available for a cash donation. Awards are given to the top three overall finishers and are presented by clock time; recipients must be present to claim prizes. Swag and finisher medals are provided while supplies last.
