Stocking Stuffer Holiday Walk/Run
The Stocking Stuffer Holiday Walk/Run is a festive non-timed event held at Bowness Park in Calgary. This holiday tradition invites participants to navigate the park's pathways while carrying a holiday stocking, which they fill with various treats and items distributed at stations along the route.

Participants receive several items as part of their registration, including a physical stocking to carry, a finisher's medal designed to double as a tree ornament, a gourmet apple fritter doughnut, and hot chocolate. The event atmosphere includes music and an announcer to enhance the holiday spirit.
This is an all-ages event. For safety, children under 12 years of age must remain within arm's length of a parent or guardian at all times. Dogs are permitted to join the walk or run provided they are kept on a short leash, particularly on narrower sections of the pathway where two-way traffic occurs. The organizers have partnered with the Calgary Food Bank and encourage participants to bring food or hygiene donations to the on-site donation truck.
