August 2026
Walking options include 10 km, 5 km and 2 km walk/run distances as part of the multisport weekend. The event is in Pinawa at the corner of Burrows Avenue and Willis Dr., held around beach and open water swim venues alongside the multisport race..
Walkers can take part in a 2.5 km walk at Stony Mountain (150 Sellers Hill Road) on a one loop course through the Stony Mountain Quarry. The event runs alongside the 5 km and 10 km races and is part of regional run series.
September 2026
Walkers have a 5 km Run/Walk route through Assiniboine Park in Winnipeg on park paths and green space. The event runs alongside running races to raise funds for DIPG research, and participants may wear superhero costumes.
Walkers can take part in a 2 km run/walk in St. Vital Park on River Road in Winnipeg. The park route is a community fundraising event supporting The Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba and Manitoba Association of Women's Shelters.
Walkers can choose the in person 5 km or 2 km courses in Winnipeg, starting at 123 Doncaster St. Registration includes a t shirt, bib, timing and a medal, and a virtual 2 km or 5 km option is offered.
Walkers have a 5K route across the Faith Bible Camp grounds at 33 Olafsson Blvd, Traverse Bay, in a campsite setting. Check-in is available and a casual walker stage is offered, with family activities on site.
October 2026
Walkers can take part in the inclusive 5K course at St. Vital Park in Winnipeg, with a youth 2.5 K option. The course is open 90 minutes and race kit pickup is at Big Sky Run Co, 194 Tache Ave; there is no onsite registration.
December 2026
A there and back route starting at The Salvation Army Heritage Park Temple in Winnipeg, offering a 1K Elf Walk alongside a 5K fun run. Walkers receive a race bib and a finisher's medal plus a Christmas tree ornament.
June 2027
Walkers can take part in 1K and 5K routes starting at Norwood Community Centre in Winnipeg, held alongside the running races. The event supports women's mental health programs.
