Holland Leprechaun Chase 5K - Holland, MI
The Holland Leprechaun Chase 5K is an annual community running event based at Centennial Park in Holland, Michigan. The race uses a closed course that passes through downtown and waterfront areas, including the Scenic Window on the Waterfront and Windmill Island Gardens, and finishes at the 10th Street and Central Avenue intersection. Streets are fully closed and the course is supported by local police and volunteers.
Event programming includes a main 5K race plus a kids race, the Holland Wee Chase, for ages 4 to 8 with age-based groups. Each participant in the main event receives a custom race shirt, a custom finisher medal, a race bib, and professional chip timing provided by Epic Timing. Post-race provisions include drinks and snacks and finish-line donut holes from DeBoer’s Bakery. The finish area features music and a finish-line celebration.
The event is organized by Lakeside Property Masters and carries a title sponsorship from Haworth Helps. Proceeds from the event support the Holland Educational Foundation to benefit local students and schools. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
