Holland Leprechaun Chase 5K
The Holland Leprechaun Chase is a community running event in Holland, MI, centered on a 5K road race and a supervised kids race. Races start and finish at Centennial Park near the 10th Street and Central Avenue intersection and use a course that passes downtown waterfront areas and Windmill Island Gardens.
Course details include a northbound leg on Central Avenue, a turn onto 6th Street, passage through the scenic waterfront window and Windmill Island Gardens, a return through the waterfront window, and a southbound return on Columbia Avenue with a final straight on 10th Street. Streets on the course are fully closed and barricaded, with police and volunteers stationed along the route.
Participant services for the 5K include professional chip timing by Epic Timing, a custom race shirt and finisher medal, a custom bib, post-race drinks and snacks, and finish-line donut holes from DeBoer’s Bakery. The kids event, Holland Wee Chase, serves ages 4–8 in age-based groups and includes a custom shirt, a finisher medal, a bib, and treats at the finish. Epic Timing provides official timing for the main race.
Proceeds from the event support the Holland Educational Foundation. The event lists title sponsorship from Haworth Helps and local organization involvement in race planning and hosting. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
