Course and logistics

The course starts and finishes on E 8th Street in downtown Holland and includes turns on Central Ave, E 7th St, and Lincoln Ave. The route enters Windmill Island Gardens and passes within five feet of the De Zwaan Windmill before returning to downtown streets for the finish. Packet pickup is available the day before at Gazelle Sports in Holland from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and on race morning at the Courtyard by Marriott downtown from 6:30 to 8:00 AM. Organizers advise using public parking such as city parking lots near the Holland Civic Center and note that 7th and 8th Street will be closed during the race. Public restrooms and porta potties will be located on Central Ave between 8th and 9th. The course may have snow in November and the Windmill Island path will not be plowed; participants run that section at their own risk.
