Event overview
The 2025 Holland Haven Marathon takes place on September 13, 2026, in Holland, Michigan. The full marathon is USATF certified and runs along Lake Michigan, starting in Grand Haven and finishing in downtown Holland. The event includes these race options:
- Full Marathon
- Half Marathon
- 8K Race
- Virtual Run
The half marathon starts at Camp Geneva and follows Lakeshore Drive into Holland on mostly flat, paved paths. The 8K is a flat out-and-back course. The virtual option allows participants to run remotely and earn a commemorative race medal. The marathon is presented as an opportunity to qualify for the Boston Marathon.
Logistics and packet pick-up
Packet pick-up is available Saturday, September 12, at Gazelle Sports Holland, 24 W 8th St, Holland, and is also available on race day. A packet pick-up and gear check area will be set up at each event's starting location. Runners receive a bib and timing chip, the race t-shirt in the size selected during registration (no exchanges), and any purchased add-ons. If someone else will pick up a packet, they must bring the runner's bib number. The published finish location is West Edge Real Estate, 76 S River Ave, Holland, MI 49423.
