Paw Paw Rotary Santa Run
The Paw Paw Rotary Santa Run is a community-focused holiday event scheduled for December 12, 2026, in Paw Paw, Michigan. Hosted by the Paw Paw Area Rotary Club at the Freshwater Community Church, this annual event celebrates its 15th year with a focus on family-friendly activity and charitable contributions. Proceeds from the event support local and global Rotary Club initiatives, including the WASH program which provides clean water and sanitation to communities in need.
The event features two primary distances:
- 5K Santa Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Santa Fun Walk
This is a non-timed event where participation and community spirit are prioritized over competition. Every paid participant receives a five-piece Santa suit to wear during the race, and those who complete the course are presented with a medal. Children under 12 who register for free receive a Santa hat; they may receive a full suit and medal only if registered at the adult rate.
The event atmosphere includes a pre-run gathering featuring live holiday music, treats, and face painting. Following the run, healthy snacks are provided for participants. For safety and organization, walkers and those with strollers are positioned to start after the runners have crossed the starting line. Please note that dogs are not permitted on the course.
