Event Overview
The St. Joseph Turkey Trot is a 5 km run/walk event scheduled for Thursday, November 26, 2026. It is described as the third annual event.
Course & Location
The event starts and finishes at the Margaret B. Upton Arboretum in Saint Joseph, Michigan. The course passes local landmarks including Silver Beach Pizza, Shadowland, a carousel, and beaches.
Logistics
The registration fee is listed as $25. Registration opens on July 8, 2026.
Packet pickup is available at multiple times and locations:
- Tuesday, November 25th at Our Lady of the Lake School (10:00 - 13:00)
- Wednesday, November 26th at Our Lady of the Lake School (16:00 - 19:00)
- Thursday morning, November 27th at the Margaret B. Upton Arboretum tent (07:30 - 08:30)
Participants are instructed to park in the Berrien County Courthouse lot at 811 Port Street and follow signs down a path to the starting area.
Included with Registration
The registration fee includes a 2025 short-sleeve Turkey Trot t-shirt, a race bib, a goody bag, post-race snacks, and awards for top finishers.
Post-Race & Awards
The finish area features music and refreshments. Timing is provided by Michiana Timing, with results posted immediately after the event.
Awards are given to the overall male and female winners, and medals are awarded to the top two males and females in each age group. Age categories range from 9 & under to 70+. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
