Walkers can follow a 5K course that starts and ends at Lower City Park in Iowa City, with strollers and leashed pets welcome. On site snacks, a kids zone and a free lunch are offered.
Walkers can choose a 5K route at Gray's Lake Park in Des Moines or a shorter 1K family walk for children and those seeking less challenge. Walkers join alongside the running races and will find food, drinks and music on site.
