Moonlight Chase
Moonlight Chase is an evening running event held on North 2nd Street in downtown Eldridge, Iowa. The event program includes youth runs and a certified adult race that finish on North 2nd Street. Free refreshments are provided at the finish area and a medical facility is available there. Local media coverage is provided by The North Scott Press.
Packet pick up is offered the day before and on race day at the Thrive Financial Building basement, 220 W. Davenport Street, Eldridge, IA 52748. Packets cannot be picked up after 8:30 PM on race day. Registrations received prior to June 26 are guaranteed a race shirt. Race results will be posted on the event website.

- 1/4 Mile Youth Fun Run (ages 6 and under)
- 1-Mile Youth Run/Walk (ages 7-12)
- 4-Mile Certified Run
Because the event takes place at night, special safety precautions apply. Wheelchair participants are allowed. Prohibited items on the course include baby strollers, roller blades, bicycles, and pets. Awards include medallions for the fun run, trophies for overall winners, age-group medals for top finishers, and separate Athena and Clydesdale division awards for specified weight categories.
