Alive & Running Iowa 5K Run/walk
The event is a community 5K run/walk held in Dunkerton, Iowa on Saturday, June 19, 2027. The course begins between Kwik Star and Dunkerton Gospel Hall and finishes at Dunkerton Gospel Hall. It is organized as a non-timed event.
Registration fee structure is listed in two tiers. Pre-registration is priced at $15 and includes a shirt for the non-timed event. After pre-registration closes the fee is $25 for the non-timed event and there is no shirt guarantee. Specific pre-registration dates are not yet provided.
Packet pickup is available on the day before the race at Dunkerton High School Commons and on race day at Dunkerton Gospel Hall. All children who are not in strollers must be registered. Dogs are not allowed on the course.
Awards are limited because the event is not timed; first place male and female winners receive a gift certificate to The Runner's Flat. There are no age-group awards. All race participants are eligible for door prizes. The event page also documents past years with photos and results from previous editions.
