November 2026
Walkers are genuinely encouraged on mainly traffic free, flat scenic paths at Westwood Lakes, Boston with 5K and 10K routes, no cut off times and cake and a medal.
Walkers can take part in the three hour score event around Eastern Moors South and Burbage Valley, choosing their own route across moors, dales and footpaths with a provided map and FRA mandatory kit required.
February 2027
Walkers can tackle the 3.3 mile off road loop from Lower Car Park at Beacon Hill, repeat laps in the 6 hour event; route goes up then down on firm but mucky ground.
April 2027
Walkers can choose 2.5k, 5k, 10k or 15k distances at Donington Park in Derby, with each 2.5k lap repeating giant inflatable obstacles and music zones. The untimed course offers a midway water station, toilets, parking (£5) and a bag d..
Walkers at Thoresby Park Newark can choose 2 km, 5 km, 10 km, Half Marathon or Marathon routes across fairly flat parkland; Nordic walkers welcome and on site parking costs £3.
Walkers complete 5k laps on a 3.3 mile off road loop from Lower Car Park, Beacon Hill Country Park, on crushed stone climbs and descents with aid every 5k and a head torch needed after 7pm.
May 2027
Walkers follow the 13.1 miles road route with steep hills and over 1,750ft ascent, with views across five counties; walking entry £15 and the walking route is not marshalled.
June 2027
Walkers follow the Pennine Way from Edale to Hardraw over 108 miles with a 60 hour limit across moorland and the Kinder Plateau. Checkpoints such as Hebden Hey offer hot meals, sleeping space and toilets.
July 2027
Walkers start from Bakewell in the Peak District on 10 km, 25 km, 50 km or 100 km routes with rest stops every ~12.5 km and major stops every ~25 km.
