Eyam Half Marathon : 17 May 2026

The Eyam Half Marathon is a 13.1 miles road race starting and finishing in Eyam, Hope Valley (S32 5QW). The course includes over 1,500 ft of ascent and passes through the hamlets of Bretton and Abney. The profile includes a c. 400 ft climb in the first two miles, a flatter section over the next three miles, an 800 ft descent over about 4.5 miles towards Hathersage, an 800 ft climb over two miles, and a final 400 ft descent back into Eyam. The route offers views across five counties.

Entry fees are listed as UKA members £23 and non-members £25 for the main race; walkers are charged £15. The minimum age for the main event is 18. All participants can choose either a finishers T-shirt or to have a tree planted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

  • Eyam Fell Race is held separately on 1 September 2026 with an online entry fee of £8; it is a fell-running event linked to the same organisers. Fifty walkers-only places are noted for the main event; walkers take part at their own risk. Entries open June 6, 2025 and close May 16, 2026.
