Eyam Half Marathon
The Eyam Half Marathon is a road race held in Eyam in the Hope Valley. The 2026 edition is scheduled for 17 May 2026. The race starts and finishes in the village of Eyam and has a routed course through nearby hamlets and countryside.
The main race covers 13.1 miles and involves over 1,500 ft of ascent with views across five counties. The course climbs more than 400 ft in the first two miles, then levels for about three miles through Bretton and Abney. Runners then descend roughly 800 ft over 4.5 miles toward Hathersage, climb about 800 ft over two miles, and finish with an approximately 400 ft descent back into Eyam.

- Junior Fell Race, 3 km for ages 11 to 16.
- Eyam Fell Race, held as a separate fell-race event.
Entry details published for the event list runner fees and concessions: standard runners £25, UKA affiliated runners £23, walkers £15, and finishers T shirts priced at £10. Fifty walkers only places are noted. Finishers can choose between a race T shirt or having a tree planted. The event has raised funds for charity in past years.
