Eyam Half Marathon
Eyam Half Marathon is a road race first held in 1993. The main event covers 13.1 miles and includes more than 1,750 ft of ascent, with views across five counties. The event has raised around £200,000 for charity and is supported by local sponsors.
Entry fees and options are published for different participants. Runners pay £25, with a reduced fee of £23 for UKA affiliated runners. Walkers pay £15 and the walking route is not marshalled. Event merchandise includes T-shirts priced at £10.
The programme also includes shorter events aimed at younger or alternative participants. The children's fun run is a 1.3 mile (2.1 km) route for under 16s, with a kids race entry fee of £3 on the day. The fell race is organised separately with online entry priced at £8. A junior fell race of 3 km is available for ages 11 to 16 with on the day entry of £3.
