Eyam Half Marathon
The Eyam Half Marathon is a road race held in the village of Eyam in the Peak District on 16 May 2027. The event starts and finishes in the historic village of Eyam and features views across five counties.
The course involves a total ascent of over 1,500 ft. Runners climb more than 400 ft in the first two miles, then the route levels for about three miles as it passes through the hamlets of Bretton and Abney. This is followed by an 800 ft descent over roughly 4.5 miles toward Hathersage, then an 800 ft climb over two miles, and finally a 400 ft descent back into Eyam.
Entry opens on 23 May 2026 and closes on 15 May 2027. The minimum age for the event is 18. Entry fees listed include UKA member and non member rates for the main race and a separate walkers fee. There are 100 walkers only places; walkers take part at their own risk. All walkers and runners may purchase a finishers Eyam Half Marathon T shirt.
