Peak Raid Race 3 Eastern Moors
Peak Raid Race 3 is part of a four-race series of fell running events. This event takes place in the Eastern Moors and Burbage Valley on 15 November 2026 and is organised by Explorer Events. Each race in the series runs to a three hour score format.
Competitors receive a waterproof map with control descriptions and point values. Within the three hour limit participants choose their own route to visit controls and score points. Points are lost for lateness. The series uses SiTiming for results and scoring, and the best three results count towards the overall league.
Entry is open to solo runners and pairs. The minimum age for participation is 14. Age category is determined by age on 31 December 2026, and for pairs the category is based on the oldest member. There is a specific parent or guardian category where one runner is under 18 and the other must be over 21 and be the parent, guardian, or an accompanying adult appointed by the parent or guardian. Prizes are awarded to those who complete a minimum of two races; awards are planned for first to third places in categories subject to minimum entry numbers.
All competitors must carry FRA mandatory minimum kit including waterproof jacket and trousers with taped seams, hat, gloves, map, compass, whistle, emergency food and a survival bag. All kit will be checked. Dogs are not permitted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
