Peak Raid Race 3 Eastern Moors
Peak Raid Race 3 takes place on Sunday 15 November 2026 in the Eastern Moors and Burbage Valley area of the Peak District. The event is the third of a four-race series of three hour score races that use SiTiming. Competitors receive a waterproof map and a control description with points values and then have three hours to choose their own route and visit as many controls as possible. Points are lost for lateness.
Entries are open with tiered fees: early bird £20, standard £22 from 12 October 2026, and late £25 from 9 November 2026; FRA members receive a £2 reduction. Minimum age to enter is 14. Results from the best three races count towards the overall league result. To be eligible for series prizes, entrants must complete at least two races; prizes are awarded to first, second and third in each category with smaller fields eligible for fewer awards.
The event accepts solo runners and pairs across 15 age and mixed categories. Age category is determined by age on 31 December 2026 and for pairs is based on the older competitor. Dogs are not permitted. All competitors must carry the FRA Mandatory Minimum Kit: waterproof whole body cover with taped seams and attached hood, hat, gloves, map, compass, whistle, emergency food and a survival bag.
