Peak Raid Race 3 Eastern Moors
Peak Raid Race 3 is a three hour fell running score event held on 15 November 2026 in the Eastern Moors and Burbage Valley area of the Peak District. Competitors receive a waterproof map with control descriptions and point values and then choose their own route to visit as many controls as possible within the time limit. Points are lost for lateness.
The event is part of a four race series that uses a variety of terrain, from high moorland that requires accurate navigation to more runnable limestone dales with a network of footpaths. Results from each event are scored and a competitor's best three results count towards the overall league.
Entries are open from 11 February 2026 until 12 November 2026. The event accepts solo runners and pairs, and has multiple age categories determined by age on 31 December 2026. Pairs are placed in a category based on the age of the older competitor. A parent or guardian entry is available when one runner is under 18 and the other is over 21.
Competitors must carry FRA mandatory minimum kit including waterproof jacket and trousers with taped seams and attached hood, hat, gloves, the provided map, compass, whistle, emergency food and a survival bag.
