The Peak District Ultra Challenge takes place in the Southern Peak District with a Bakewell basecamp on 4-5 July 2026. The event offers multiple route options in a figure-of-8 layout that start and finish at Bakewell basecamp. Course formats include a continuous 100 km option and a two-day daylight 100 km (split into a northern loop and a southern loop). Reported climbs and distances for key options include:

- ~73 km (3/4 challenge) - ~1500 m climb

Logistics and support
Bakewell basecamp includes camping packages, parking, transfers, hospitality, and bar facilities. Rest stops are provided approximately every 12.5 km with major stops about every 25 km. The route is fully signed and GPS tracking is available through the event app; timing scans at rest stops log progress. Catering is included with snacks every ~12.5 km and meals every ~25 km. Medical provision includes doctors, paramedics, first aiders, podiatrists, and massage teams, plus a 24-hour control room and mobile emergency medical teams. Finishers receive a medal, a T-shirt, and a glass of fizz. The event also offers specific categories: Ultra March for fast walkers and Trailblazerz for competitive runners (100 km under 12 hours, 50 km under 5 hours).
