Race for Life Nottingham : Victoria Embankment
Race for Life Nottingham takes place on Sunday 21 June 2026 at Victoria Embankment beside the River Trent. The event offers chip-timed running routes and is organised with on-site facilities and accessibility provisions.
Available distances:
- 10k
- 5k
The start and finish are on grass. The route is described as flat with a mixture of terrains; the 10k course is a double lap of the 5k route. Events are chip-timed so participants can record official times.
The meeting point is the field just off Wilford Grove on the Meadows Ground, near the Council Building. General event parking is provided on the sports field with access from Bathley Street; blue badge parking is at the same location. Organisers advise not to park along Victoria Embankment as this forms part of the course. The nearest train station is Nottingham, about a 25 minute walk to the site. There are no bike racks.
Facilities available include refreshments and toilets. Dogs are allowed and the site is suitable for pushchairs. Wheelchair access is available with assistance; the main site is on grass with some inclines. Sunflower wristbands, trained Event Managers, and a QR code for British Sign Language stage content are provided to support accessibility.
Entry details list an age requirement of 16 and over for the 10k, an adult entry fee of £17.49, a children’s fee of £11.00, and a minimum fundraising target of £50. Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training support, community access, and a Race for Life medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
