Mallard Cake Dash
The Mallard Cake Dash is a road race organised by Trident Sports Events at Westwood Lakes in Boston, Lincolnshire. The event offers the following distances:

The course is flat and described as scenic, with routes on mainly traffic-free paths. The course is clearly marked and marshalled for participant support. There are no cut-off times and walkers are explicitly welcomed.
Every finisher receives a Trident medal, a slice of cake and a drink. Participants have reported a calm and positive atmosphere created by friendly marshals and clear course signage.
The event has sold out in recent years, with 350 places filled in 2024 and 450 in 2025. Capacity for 2026 has been increased to 500 places and the organiser notes the history of sell-outs.
