Run Norwich takes over the city centre each year with a 10K that passes the castle and the cathedral, and it sells out within hours. The Cambridge Town and Gown 10K in October runs through the colleges and along the Backs, while the Ipswich Twilight 10K in July is one of the region's best-known evening races. Beyond those, the East of England is club-race country: expect measured courses, modest entry fees and a field that knows its splits.
