The Moonlight Trail
The Moonlight Trail is a night trail event held on 18 Nov 2026 at The Wheatsheaf, Hatfield Peverel CM3 2JF. The event is a 6 Miles trail run open to participants aged 16 and over. It holds TRA Race Licence 8899.
This is a self navigation event. Participants receive a written route description on the day; there are no course markings, no marshals and no GPX file. The event is not a mass start; runners will be timed out and must check back in at the finish.
Because it takes place after dark, a head torch or torch and a mobile phone are required. Entry is by advance registration. Fees are £15 for affiliated entrants and £17 for unaffiliated entrants, with an additional booking fee of 50p if entered online. The entry fee includes a choice of food: meat lasagne, meat chilli or veg chilli; entrants are asked to state their choice.
Results will be published on the organiser's website. Multiple entries can be made to allow friends to run together, but the organiser requires full contact and emergency details for any additional people entered under one name before the closing date. There are no refunds; transfers are permitted up to one week before the closing date. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
