Adnams 10K Run
The Adnams 10K Run is an annual running event held in Southwold. The race for 2026 is scheduled for 22nd November and is organised as a multi-lap, circular course that includes sections on shingle and a final incline before the finish.
The course consists of two-and-a-half laps. It starts at The Harbour Inn, passes The Common, and on the final circuit runners are diverted up Queen's Road to the finish on South Green by The Red Lion pub. The harbour section has a shingle surface and the approach to the finish includes an incline. Finishers receive a goody bag and a post-race welcome.
Entry is limited to 860 places and places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Previous events have filled quickly. Entry fees are listed as £25 for UKA affiliated individual runners and affiliated teams, and £27 for non-affiliated runners. Registration opens on 10th July and closes on 19th October for this edition.
All profits from the event, after costs, are directed to the Adnams Community Trust. The trust awards grants to organisations operating within 25 miles of Southwold. Many participants also use the event to raise additional funds for local charities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
