Breckland Forest 10K Run
The event is a 10K trail run around Santon Downham, passing through parts of Breckland and Thetford Forest. The route is mainly off-road with a few short road sections. The race will be chip timed and there is no cut off time. All finishers receive a bespoke medal.
Car parking is available at Santon Downham Village Hall, which is also the start and finish location. Organisers request car sharing to help reduce potential disturbance to local residents. Toilets are available at the Village Hall, where tea, coffee and bacon butties can be purchased. A water station will be provided at the halfway point, and free cold drinks are provided at the start and finish.
Individual runners and teams are welcome. Runners must be at least 16 years old and dogs are not permitted. Headphones are allowed but must be removed on road sections. The event is authorised by Forestry England. The published ticket price was £21.65 including booking fee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
