About the race
The Breckland Forest 10K Run is scheduled for Sunday 15 November 2026 at Santon Downham Village Hall, Santon Downham, IP27 0TL. The event is a 10 km trail run that passes through parts of Breckland and Thetford Forest in and around Santon Downham.
The route is mainly off-road with a few short road sections. The race will be chip timed and there is no cut off time. All finishers receive a bespoke medal. A water station is provided at the halfway point, and free cold drinks are available at the event base. Toilets are available at the village hall, which also offers tea, coffee and bacon butties for purchase.
Parking is available at Santon Downham Village Hall; runners are asked to consider car sharing to reduce disturbance to nearby residents. The event accepts individual runners and teams. Runners must be at least 16 years old. Dogs are not permitted. Headphones are allowed but must be removed on road sections.
