Breckland Forest 10K Run
The Breckland Forest 10K Run is a trail event in and around Santon Downham, taking runners through parts of Breckland and Thetford Forest. The route is mainly off-road with a few short road sections. The race will be chip timed and there is no cut off time. All finishers receive a bespoke medal. The event is scheduled for Sunday 15 November 2026.
Individual runners and teams are welcome. Runners must be 16 or older; dogs are not permitted. Headphones are allowed but must be removed on road sections.
Parking is available at Santon Downham Village Hall, which is also the start and finish area. Toilets are provided at the Village Hall, where tea, coffee and bacon butties will be available for purchase. There is a water station at the midpoint of the course and free cold drinks at the start and finish. Organisers ask that participants car share where possible to reduce disturbance to nearby residents. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
