Brewery Trail Run
This event combines a trail run around the Chiltern Hills with a brewery visit at Tring Brewery. The route covers 10 km (6 miles) on trails with some hills and the session is listed as a half-day activity. The organiser provides a private brewery tour that includes a tasting and a choice of a standard bottle of beer or a pint in the tap room.
Meeting and finish locations are in Tring: the meeting point is the Market Place (Tring Farmer's Market) and the event finishes at Tring Brewery, which is within walking distance of the start. On-site pay and display parking is available. The nearest rail link is Tring station, with taxi ranks or a 1.7 mile walk along pavements to the meeting point. The run is open to a range of abilities; participants should be able to run 5 km non-stop. Participants are grouped by ability, first-time trail runners are welcome, and all guides are qualified and experienced trail runners. The offering from the organiser includes a run leader, trail running instruction, the brewery tour and tasting, bag storage and the listed 6 miles of route through the Chilterns.
