Brewery Trail Run
The Brewery Trail Run is a half day event that combines a 10 km (6 miles) trail run in the Chiltern Hills with a guided tour of Tring Brewery. The run follows trails with some hills and groups are organised by ability. Participants should be able to run 5 km non stop; first time trail runners are welcome.
All guides are qualified and experienced trail runners and provide trail running instruction during the route. The event includes a run leader, a brewery tour, a beer tasting and a standard size bottle of beer or the option to stay for a pint in the tap room. Bag storage is provided.
Logistics note the meeting location as the Market Place at Tring (Tring Market Auctions). The nearest train station is Tring; it is about a 1.7 mile walk to the meeting point or a short taxi ride. There is an on site pay and display car park and nearby facilities include a cafe and toilets.
The event is described as open to all abilities with paced groups, but personal insurance and travel are not included. Mandatory kit is listed by the organiser. The event lists 50 spaces and a ticket price appears as £40 for an individual entry. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
