Christmas Canter
Christmas Canter is a road running event at the Suffolk Running Centre, Church Road, Bury St Edmunds, IP29 5AX. The event offers multiple distance choices and uses mapped road routes around the campsite.

The half and full use the Hargrave Half route: a 21.3 km single loop from the campsite, 100% road on quiet lanes, with 183 m of climb. The half marathon is one loop and the full marathon is two loops. The ultra comprises two loops of the Hargrave route with the option to continue to the 5k or 10k turnpoint.
The 5k and 10k use the Mount Barrow route: a 10.5 km out-and-back from the campsite, 100% road, with 168 m of climb and elevation varying between 48 m and 89 m. A GPX file is available from the course information.
There is an aid station with drinks and nibbles approximately every 10 km. Race HQ and base camp are located at the start and lap point and include a water/aid station. Parking is included in the entry price. The event operates a seven-hour cut off and a mass start for all distances. The event is cupless; participants should bring their own bottles or cups for refilling. No dogs or buggies are allowed. Headphones are not permitted except bone conduction models. A bespoke finisher medal is provided and a lucky dip medal option may be available. Entry fees range from £31 to £38. Virtual entry is offered via the organiser's shop.
