Walkers can use the 5 km or 10 km courses starting adjacent to Ceperley Park near Second Beach in Stanley Park. Routes run along Coal Harbour, Lost Lagoon and the English Bay seawall on mostly flat scenic paths and are open to all ages.

Non competitive hikers can walk Sport 6.5 km or Enduro 10 km routes through dense Mt Seymour Provincial Park forest and around Goldie and Flower lakes. The hiking division is led by pace leaders and allows Nordic poles.
