Event overview
The Big Elf Run is an annual holiday themed run in Stanley Park, Vancouver, on December 13, 2025. The event starts and finishes at Lumbermans Arch and follows paved park paths and the seawall with views of Coal Harbour and Burrard Inlet. The course has few inclines and a two-hour course cut-off. Entertainment and on-course services include a DJ, an "elfie" photo station, water station, prize giveaways and vendors. Chip timing is used for the longer distances and a finish clock is provided for the kids run. Pets and strollers are allowed but must start in the final wave and dogs must be on leashes.

Registration, packet pickup and charity
Registration items listed for participants include a personalised bib with a custom "Elf Name" (customise by Nov 16 deadline), an elf toque, a wooden ornament medal made in BC, a measured route and chip timing for the 5 km, 10 km and 15 km distances. Packet pickup locations are Kintec Burnaby, Kintec North Vancouver and Kintec Broadway on the days before the event; onsite packet pickup is available on event day for an additional fee.
