The Big Elf Run
The Big Elf Run takes place on Saturday December 12, 2026 at Lumberman's Arch in Stanley Park, Vancouver, BC. It is a holiday themed run and walk that offers multiple distances around scenic Stanley Park.
Distances offered include:
- 1 km Wee Elf Run
- 5 km Big Elf Run
- 10 km Big Elf Run (2 loops)
The route passes trails lined with old oak trees and then the seawall with views of Coal Harbour and Burrard Inlet. The surface is mainly paved with few inclines. The course is pet and stroller friendly when pets and strollers start in the last wave. Course cut off is two hours.
Registration includes a customizable Elf Name bib (customize by November 16), an Elf toque, chip timing for the 5 km and 10 km, and a wooden medal made in BC that doubles as a tree ornament. Group discounts apply for four or more participants in one transaction and a reduced entry is available for under 18s in the 5 km and 10 km. Entries are non refundable.
Packet pickup is available at Kintec locations on December 9 to 11 and onsite on event day with a convenience fee per pack. The event collects donations for the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau as part of its fundraising. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
