The Big Elf Run
The Big Elf Run is a holiday-themed run taking place on December 12, 2026, in Stanley Park, Vancouver. The event offers multiple route options around the park and includes on-course entertainment and festive elements.

Registration includes a personalised running bib with a custom "Elf Name", a wooden ornament medal (from BC), an elf toque costume item, a measured route, a water station, entertainment and an "Elf-ie" photo station. There is also a chance to win door prizes.
The course starts at Lumbermans Arch, follows paths lined with old oak trees and then the seawall with views of Coal Harbour and Burrard Inlet. The route is mainly paved with few inclines and is described as accessible. Leashed dogs and strollers are welcome and should start in the final wave.
Participants must complete their route within two hours (1 km in 30 minutes). Run kit pickup is available December 9, 10 and 11 at Kintec locations in Burnaby, North Vancouver and Vancouver. The event partners with the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau and hosts a toy drive at the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
