The Steveston Icebreaker is an annual, family-friendly run along Richmond's waterfront, held at Imperial Landing on Bayview Street in Richmond, BC, Canada. Registration, pricing and fundraising
Early-bird registration period shown runs September 23 to November 2. Sample early-bird fees listed are: $54.73 for the in-person Icebreaker 8K, $22.68 for the 2.5 km Kidsrun, $14.66 for the 1 km Kidsrun, and $33.36 for the Virtual 8K. The 2.5 km Kidsrun is for children ages 6-13 with no parents on course; the 1 km Kidsrun is for children ages 0-8 and parents or caregivers may run alongside. All proceeds from the Kidsrun go directly to KidSport Richmond. The event page shows $1,068.36 raised toward a $12,500 fundraising goal (9%). Online registration closes January 11, 2026. Transfers are permitted until January 1, 2026 with a $10 transfer fee. Entry fees are non-refundable; there is no cash refund if the race is cancelled for reasons outside the organizers' control.
