Shamrock’n Race Burnaby Lake
Shamrock’n Race takes place on Sunday March 15 2026 around Burnaby Lake Regional Park in Burnaby BC. The event is St. Patrick's Day themed and participants are invited to dress up.
The course for the half marathon and the 7 Mile circles Burnaby Lake on trail sections that pass through a wildlife sanctuary. The lake was created by a glacier about 12 000 years ago and its shores hosted sawmills in the late 1800s. For this event the 7 Mile and half marathon loop the lake clockwise.

The event is chip timed; participants must attach the timing tag to their shoe laces using the provided zaps. Race packages include a mini magnetic Bluetooth speaker with lights. Bag check is available by donation near the start and finish. Awards are presented as soon as the top three in each distance are identified and results are intended to be posted within 24 hours.
