Event overview
The 19th Annual Shamrock’n Race is a St. Patrick’s Day themed running event held on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at Burnaby Lake Regional Park in Burnaby, BC. The start and finish are at Joe Sakic Way and Sperling Avenue. The race uses the trails around Burnaby Lake, which is described as a wildlife sanctuary and glacial lake.

Course and race format
The 7 Mile and Half Marathon routes circle Burnaby Lake clockwise for this event. The race uses staggered starts and the course is open for three hours. Awards are presented as soon as the top three finishers are recorded in each distance. Bag check is available by donation at the charity table near the start/finish.
Registration, timing and logistics
Online registration is offered and closes one week before race day or when the supply cap is reached. Registration fees vary by distance and by date tier: early, regular, last chance, and in-person/day-of rates are listed for each distance. The event is tag timed; runners must attach the timing tag to their shoe laces and keep the bib visible on the front of the body. Results are targeted to be posted within 24 hours.
