About the race
RunGo Dash for Dogs 2027 is a winter trail running and walking event in Stanley Park, Vancouver, held on February 21, 2027. The event offers timed and virtual participation options and includes multiple route distances.
Available distances:
- 2 km walk or kids run; free for kids under 5
- 5 km run or walk; youth pricing applies
- 10 km run
The event supports BC & Alberta Guide Dogs. Historically Dash for Dogs has raised over CA$220,000 across 13 years and the 2026 event raised over CA$30,000. Current fundraising details and an identified fundraising goal are listed with the event.
Course and event features include a self-timed format, fully flagged trails, on-course marshals, and an audio guide available through the RunGo app. Dogs that are well behaved and kept on leash may join participants on course. Post-event offerings include pancakes, prizes, giveaways, community partner booths, blindfolded walks with guide dogs, and appearances by guide dog puppies.
Packet pickup is available at a Running Room location on Robson Street before event day and at Brockton Pavilion on event day. A Virtual Run option is available for remote participants; virtual registration does not provide access to the Vancouver event.
