About the race
RunGo Dash for Dogs 2027 is scheduled for February 21, 2027 at Brockton Pavilion, 1151 Stanley Park Drive, Vancouver, BC. The event offers multiple trail distances and a virtual option.

The event supports BC & Alberta Guide Dogs. Organizers report that Dash for Dogs has raised more than CA$220,000 over 13 years and that the 2026 event raised over CA$30,000. A current fundraising listing shows CA$320.49 raised toward a CA$24,000 goal.
Routes use scenic winter trails in Stanley Park. Dogs may join participants on course provided they are well behaved and kept on leash. The event is self timed; the course will be fully flagged and course marshals will be present. A RunGo audio guide for the course is available.
Post-event activities include pancakes, prizes, giveaways, music, community partner booths, blindfolded walks with guide dogs, and appearances by guide dog puppies. A Puppy Pal sponsorship option is available for donations over CA$200 and includes a welcome letter, a framed photo, and five blank note cards featuring puppy pictures.
Practical notes from the organizer: there is early packet pickup on February 19 at the Running Room on Robson Street and race day packet pickup at Brockton Pavilion. Registration fees apply, spots are limited, transfers between distances are allowed, and no refunds are accepted.
