Walkers can do 5K or 13.1 Miles alongside the run at Ned Brown Meadow Grove in Elk Grove Village, IL; all finishers receive a medal and donut.
December 2026
Walkers can do the chip timed 5K through Downtown Wheaton alongside runners and receive a long sleeve shirt, reindeer antlers and a finisher medal.
Walkers are welcome on the 5k that starts and ends at Roc City Bar & Grill and winds through hilly Rockdale and West Park. Walkers should maintain a 20 min/mile pace or better and pets or strollers are not permitted.

Routes of 10 Mile and 5K start at Montrose Beach on the Chicago lakefront, featuring a climb over Cricket Hill and a Wilson track finish. Walkers are encouraged to register for the 5K.
Walkers can choose Half Marathon or 5K routes starting at North Central College, passing downtown and scenic Naperville neighborhoods alongside the running races.

Walkers can choose a non timed 2K walk or the timed 5K, both at Lake Co. Fairgrounds in Crown Point. The course follows fairground paths around the lake, with early packet pickup available and on site race day pickup.
Walkers can use the 5K from Warrenville Recreation Center via the Illinois Prairie Path and Warrenville Grove; a 1 Miler follows and no strollers bikes or dogs allowed.
