Parkie's 5K - Bolingbrook Park District
Parkie's 5K takes place on August 22, 2026 at the Bolingbrook Recreation & Aquatic Complex in Bolingbrook, Illinois. The event program includes a road 5K and a separate 1-mile Family Fun Walk through the neighborhood.
Participants may run, walk, push a stroller, or use other mobility options. Each registered participant receives a finisher gift. The 5K includes a commemorative medal for finishers and award medals for the top overall male and female and for the top three males and females in standard age categories.
Registration information is provided with separate opening and closing dates for each event. Participants who register by August 1 are guaranteed a race shirt in their selected size; those who register later are not guaranteed a shirt or correct size. Packet pick-up is available on August 21 at the Bolingbrook Recreation & Aquatic Complex multipurpose room.
The 1-mile Family Fun Walk is untimed and intended for families; stroller riders for the walk do not receive a race shirt or finisher medal. Additional community activities include a pancake breakfast event organized separately the same day.
