Beecher Freedom 5K Run/Walk
The 21st annual Beecher Freedom 5K is scheduled for July 4, 2027 in Beecher, Illinois. The event is presented as a run and a walk and is sponsored by the Beecher Lion's Club as a major fundraiser for local services.
Start and finish and registration are located at the Community Hall, 673 Penfield St, Beecher, IL 60401. The course winds through the Village of Beecher and includes a water station at the halfway point. Miles are accurately marked and the event uses computerized timing. Free refreshments are provided after the race.
Registration details from the organizer include an open registration period and fees: pre-registered entry is $18, a race shirt is an additional $13, and race day registration fee is $25 with no shirts available on race day. Registration opens 04/30/2027 and closes 07/03/2027. Same day registration and check-in are noted for the morning of the event. Race shirts are not available after June 26.
