Beecher Freedom 5K Run/Walk : 2026

The Beecher Freedom 5K Run/Walk is the 20th annual event held on July 4, 2026 in Beecher, Illinois. Sponsored by the Beecher Lion's Club, the event serves as a major fundraiser to support local community services. Proceeds will help provide vision screenings, eyeglasses, and hearing aids to residents who need financial assistance.

Start, finish, and registration are located at the Community Hall, 673 Penfield St, Beecher IL 60401. The 5K course winds through the Village of Beecher, includes accurately marked miles, computerized timing, and a water station at the halfway point. Free refreshments are provided after the race.

Entry fees are listed as $18 for pre-registered participants, with race shirts available for an additional $13. Day-of registration is $25 and shirts are not available after June 25. Registration for the event opens April 1, 2026. The event previously attracted over 230 participants.
