Scarecrow Scramble : Lisle, IL
The Scarecrow Scramble takes place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 1825 Short Street, Lisle, IL 60532. Proceeds benefit the Lisle Partners for Parks Foundation Scholarship Fund and the Lisle Teens with Character Program. The event offers multiple short-course runs for different ages and abilities and includes post-race food and beverages for participants.

- Youth Run (open to ages 4 - 11)
- Tot Dash (open to ages 2 - 4)
Registration is online; race day registration will also be offered in-person and online. All registration fees are final and non-refundable. Every participant must sign a waiver. Bib and shirt pick up is available at the Lisle Recreation Center the day before the race and at the band shell on race day. Tot Dash registrants do not receive a shirt. Any child 11 or under who paid for the 5K may run the Youth Run at no extra cost; only one shirt will be issued per paid 5K entry.
Participants receive one food ticket and one beverage ticket; alcohol is available only to those 21 and older. Boss Dawgz of Lisle will serve hot dogs and a vegetarian portobello option. Awards for the 5K include trophies for top male/female overall and top masters 40+, plus medals for 1st–3rd in listed age groups. Youth and Tot Dash finishers receive ribbons.
