Under Armour Chicago 10K
The Under Armour Chicago 10K is a 10 km (6.2 mile) running event. It takes place on a Sunday in October in Grant Park at Arvey Field in Chicago.
Registration is first-come, first-served. Several pricing tiers are listed, including presale, early bird, standard, race week, and race day rates.
Participants receive an Under Armour race shirt, a finisher medal, and an official bib number with timing chip included in their entry. Registration is nonrefundable. Participants can sign up for a race day packet pickup service for a fee. Regular packet pickup is available the day before the race at the Under Armour store on Michigan Avenue.
The event uses a B-Tag Chronotrack timing system. A pace requirement of 15 minutes per mile or faster is in place for all participants. Walkers are allowed to participate.
A beneficiary of the event is Special Olympics Chicago | Special Children’s Charities.
On race day, organizers recommend arriving at least 45 minutes before the start. Participants are encouraged to use public transportation or carpool due to expected traffic. Parking can be reserved in advance through a third-party service.
The event will take place rain or shine. In case of lightning within a 10-mile radius, the start may be postponed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
