Under Armour Chicago 10K
The Under Armour Chicago 10K is scheduled for Sunday, October 3, 2027, and takes place in Grant Park at Arvey Field, 1501 S Lakeshore Drive, Chicago, IL 60605. The event distance is 10K (6.2 miles). Entries are accepted on a first come, first served basis and cannot be added once the event is sold out.
All entries include an Under Armour race shirt, a finisher medal, and an official bib number. The event uses the B-Tag ChronoTrack timing system; each participant will receive a B-Tag timing device with their bib. Participants must maintain a 15:00 minute per mile pace or faster to remain on course.
Packet pick up is available in three ways. In-person pickup is at the Under Armour store, 600 N Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60611, on Saturday, October 2, 2027 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A third party may pick up a packet by presenting the participant QR code. Race day packet pick up is available at the race site for a $20 fee from 7:00 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.
Pricing tiers are listed for presale, early bird, standard, race week, and race day entries. The event will take place rain or shine; in the event of lightning within a 10 mile radius, officials will postpone the race in 30 minute increments. All registrations are nonrefundable.
The beneficiary for the 2027 event is Special Olympics Chicago and Special Children’s Charities. Participants are encouraged to plan parking and transportation in advance as street closures and heavy traffic are possible. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
