Under Armour Chicago 10K
The Under Armour Chicago 10K takes place on October 3, 2027, in Grant Park, Chicago. The course starts at Grant Park – Arvey Field, located near 1501 S Lakeshore Drive and northeast of the Roosevelt Road and Columbus Drive intersection. The distance is 10K (6.2 miles). The event uses the B-Tag Chronotrack timing system and all participants receive a timing device with their bib number. Participants must maintain a 15:00 minute per mile pace or faster.
All participants receive an Under Armour race shirt, a finisher medal, and an official bib number. Limited edition finisher merchandise from Under Armour and other partners is available through event checkout. Packet pick-up requires a QR code and can be completed in person during the designated pre-race pick-up at the Under Armour store at 600 N Michigan Avenue, by a third party presenting the participant QR code, or as a paid race day packet pick-up option at the race site.
Entries are accepted on a first come, first served basis and all registrations are nonrefundable. Pricing tiers listed for registration include presale, early bird, standard, race week, and race day rates. The event is scheduled to proceed rain or shine; race officials may delay, postpone, or cancel the race for safety reasons, and lightning within a 10 mile radius triggers a 30 minute postponement policy.
Proceeds benefit Special Olympics Chicago | Special Children’s Charities. Volunteers are used for course marshal duties, start and finish support, aid stations, gear check, packet pick-up, and event setup and teardown. Participants are encouraged to carpool or use public transportation due to expected street closures and heavy traffic near the race site.
