Event Information
The Ooh Lala Chocolate Run Walk takes place on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at the Kane County Courthouse in downtown Geneva, Illinois (100 S. Third Street). Packet pickup opens at 6:00 AM at 25N Coworking Geneva on Race Day.
Race Distances
The event offers four in-person distances and three virtual options.

- 10K
- Half Marathon
- 1 Mile Chocolate Walk
Virtual participation is available for the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon distances from November 2 to November 8, 2025. Race swag for virtual participants is shipped the week of November 2, 2025.
Course & Logistics
The 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon courses are certified. Gear check opens at 6:15 AM at the starting line in front of the courthouse. The event website provides a map for public parking in downtown Geneva. Dogs and strollers are permitted, as indicated by a dedicated page on the event site.
Registration & Proceeds
Registration closes on November 2, 2025. Entry fees increase over several periods, with the lowest prices available from January 1 to December 18. Race proceeds benefit the Step By Step Running Club.
Awards and medals are presented, and an award ceremony is held. Results from previous years (2024, 2025) are available online. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
