Walkers can join the untimed 1 mile fun run/walk at Wayne Community College in Goldsboro NC. The walk is held alongside the 5K fundraiser and requires registration with published entry fees.
October 2026

Walkers can choose a 5K or a 1 mile Family Fun Run/Walk on a newly certified 5K course starting at 207 E Arlington Blvd, Greenville NC, alongside the running races. Packet pickup is at Fleet Feet in Greenville on 11/25 from 12pm to 6pm.
December 2026
The event at 3000 Wayne Memorial Drive in Goldsboro offers a 4K Run Walk for walkers and an 8K alongside the running races. A .4K kids fun run by donation gives every child a ribbon and proceeds support The P.O.R.T.A.L. housing initiative.
