Ambleside Community 5K
The Ambleside Community 5K and Kids Fun Mile take place at Neuseway Nature Park in Kinston, North Carolina, on August 29, 2026. The event is organized to raise funds for Ambleside Prep Athletics and to provide a community race experience.

Registration opens June 11 and closes August 29. Registered participants pay the listed fees for each event; the 5K fee is $35.00 and the Kids Fun Mile fee is $25.00. Registration by August 5 guarantees a race T-shirt. Race-day registration will be available at the picnic shelter.
The 5K is chip timed and includes a finisher medal, an official Ambleside Prep Community 5K race T-shirt while supplies last, and post-race refreshments. Awards will be presented to the top overall male and female finishers and to age group winners. The Kids Fun Mile is a non-competitive event intended to give young participants a finish-line experience and encourage activity. Proceeds support equipment, uniforms, facility improvements, and opportunities intended to develop character, teamwork, and competition for Ambleside Prep student-athletes.
