10th Annual Pink Ribbon Run
The Pink Ribbon Run, previously known as Run for the Ribbons, takes place in Greenville, North Carolina. This event raises funds to support local individuals and families affected by breast cancer. The activities are centered behind the Hilton Greenville on Landmark Street.
Participants can choose between two main events:
- 5K Run
- 1-Mile Walk
The 5K run is held on a certified course and features professional race timing provided by Run the East. All participants in the 5K category receive an event t-shirt as part of their registration fee. Reduced registration rates are available for students in the 5-17 and 18-22 age brackets, which also include a t-shirt. Teams consisting of four or more members are eligible for a discount per person.
The 1-Mile Walk is an untimed event and is free of charge. Free participants in the walk do not receive an event t-shirt. On-site registration and packet pickup are available on the day of the race.
Awards are presented to the top overall male and female finishers. Additionally, the top two male and female participants in various age groups relative to the 5K results receive recognition. These age categories range from 5-12 to 81+. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
