Event details
The Pink Ribbon Run is a community running and walking event held in Greenville, NC, behind the Hilton Greenville on Landmark Street (postal code 27858). The event raises funds for local people battling breast cancer and their families. It is the 10th annual edition and was formerly called Run for the Ribbons.
The event includes the following distances:
- 5K run on a certified course
- 1-mile walk (untimed)
The 5K is professionally timed by Run The East.
Registration, fees and awards
Standard 5K registration is $30 and includes an event t-shirt. Team registrations of four or more receive a $5 discount per person. Student rates include: ages 5-17 for $13 (includes a shirt) and ages 18-21 for $18 (includes a shirt). The 1-mile walk is free and does not include a shirt. Participants are advised to register by September 21 to be guaranteed an event t-shirt.
Awards are given to the top overall male and female, and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
