Event Overview
The CoopStrong Four Miler offers multiple events to honor the memory of Nelson Cooper. The events are organized by the CoopStrong Charitable Fund, which supports ALS research, local families living with ALS, and scholarships at ECU.
Events and Registration
The following events are available:
- 4-Miler (Chip Timed) - This timed event costs $30.
- 4-Mile Ruck (Untimed) - This untimed event costs $25.
- 1-Mile Fun Run (Untimed) - This untimed event costs $25.
- Virtual 4-Mile (Untimed) - This virtual, untimed event costs $25.
- "Friend of Coop" - This entry option costs $100.
Registration for the in-person events closes on March 13, 2026. For some events, there is a limited number of participant spots.
Event Location and Logistics
The event takes place at the ECU Belk Building in Greenville, North Carolina. Packet pickup is available on March 13 at Fleet Feet in Greenville. Additional packet pickup is available on the event day.
Participants who register by a specified date are guaranteed a race t-shirt. A limited quantity of shirts is available for those who register after that date. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
