Mount Olive Wag, Walk, and Run
The event in Mount Olive offers road races and a fun run/walk that run in and around the town and start and end at Westbrook Park. The park has amenities for children.

- 5K With Dog - 5K
- 1 Mile Run and Walk - 1 mile
Registration details vary by event. Early registration for the 5K is listed at $30 and the 1 mile at $20. The 5K fee increases for registrations made on or after September 10. A race shirt is included with the 5K entries; the 1 mile does not include a shirt. Additional shirts are available as a registration add on for $15. Participants who register by September 10 are guaranteed a race T shirt; registrations after that date receive a shirt while supplies last.
Proceeds benefit The Mount Olive Friends of the Parks and Pawtism, a North Carolina nonprofit that helps provide service dogs to children with autism.
