Running events in Northern Ireland on one calendar: 51 running races in 2026 and 2027, from 5Ks in Belfast to trail marathons in the Mournes. Road races over 5 and 10 miles sit alongside 5Ks and 10Ks, with trail runs in the forest parks and along the Causeway Coast. The big marathons and half marathons fall in April and May and again from late August to October; summer evenings belong to the shorter road races, and October to February is cross-country season, with Christmas runs in December. Search by distance, date or place, or browse the calendar month by month.
Running events by city and town
Find the races near you: Belfast in the east, Derry-Londonderry in the north-west, Coleraine for the north coast, Newry for the Mournes and Armagh, and Enniskillen for Fermanagh and west Tyrone. Belfast to Derry-Londonderry is only about 70 miles by road, and each page takes in the towns around it.
Half marathons and the best-known runs
The half marathons in Northern Ireland have a calendar of their own. The best-known runs include the Belfast City Marathon in spring, the Mourne Way Marathon in early summer and the Antrim Coast Half Marathon in late summer. For races in England, Scotland and Wales, see the UK running calendar. Organising a race that is not listed yet? Add it via the + Event button at the top of the page.
