Turkey Trot - County Down, 26 December 2026
This is a mountain running event organised by NIMRA and not hosted by IMRA. The route covers a distance of 7.50 km with approximately 400 m of ascent over upland terrain. The course is marked at only major junctions and the use of GPS devices is not permitted.
The event specifies Level B - Standard mandatory kit. Required items are a waterproof jacket, hat or buff, gloves, whistle, a charged mobile phone with the emergency number stored, and a foil blanket, bivvy bag or equivalent. Competitors are expected to carry the full kit listed for Level B.
