Event overview
The CIYMS Boxing Day Fun Run takes place in Belfast on 26 December 2025. The event is organised by Orangegrove Athletics Club and uses a 5 km route that is mainly within Belmont Park. All money raised will be donated to the NI Hospice and the NI Children’s Hospice. The event has a maximum of 250 entrants and the minimum age to take part is 11 years.
Race information
Entry opens 5 November 2025 and closes 22 December 2025. The entry fee is £10.00. Registration is held on race day inside the pavilion. Prizes are awarded for first, second and third male and female finishers, and there are prizes for best fancy dress costumes. Toilet and shower facilities will be available at CIYMS. Organisers note that in-ear and over-the-ear headphones are strongly discouraged; bone-conducting headphones are permitted. Results will be published on the event website after the race.
