August 2026
Walkers can join the 1K fun walk at Centennial Park on Lakeshore Drive in Barrie, held alongside 3K and 5K races in support of the Barrie Food Bank. Participants often come with family and enjoy the day festivities.
October 2026
A 1K family fun walk at Fairy Lake Park, 520 Water St, Newmarket, on park paths by the lake. The walk is free and the t shirt is not included but available for purchase for $25. It runs alongside the 3K and 5K races.
Walkers can choose 1km or 5km routes at Centennial Beach Park on Lakeshore Drive in Barrie, ON, or complete the course virtually at their own pace from anywhere. The event is a community fun walk or Bunny Hop supporting Bridget's Bunnies.
Walkers have 1KM, 5KM, and 10KM options from Horseshoe Valley Resort on rugged forest singletrack with steep climbs and uneven footing. Each 5KM loop has one aid station; parking and resort amenities are on site.
December 2026
Walkers take part in the 1K Elf Walk starting at 5 Simcoe St, Barrie ON as part of the event supporting The Salvation Army. Registration is shared with the 5K fun run and includes a race bib, a finisher medal and a Christmas tree ornament.
