About the race
The Georgina Spring Fling 2027 offers multiple certified road race distances at 1924 Metro Road North, Jacksons Point, Georgina, Ontario. Distances available include:
- Marathon
- Half Marathon
- 10 km run/walk
- 5 km run/walk
The marathon is a certified Boston qualifier and the marathon, half marathon and 10 km courses carry Athletics Canada certification numbers. The course runs along Lake Drive beside Lake Simcoe and is described as fast, flat and scenic. Aid stations are located at approximately every 2.5 km and provide water and an electrolyte drink from XACT Nutrition; no gels or other nutrition are provided. Portable toilets are available at each aid station and at the half marathon turnaround.
Marathon participants may use a self-serve special needs bag placed on a table after the halfway turnaround; bags must be clearly marked with bib numbers and runners are responsible for locating their own bag. Pace groups are provided for multiple finish times in both marathon and half marathon fields.
Parking at De La Salle Park and the Red Barn Theatre lot requires a pre-purchased VIP parking pass. Free overflow parking is available at three nearby lots with shuttle service to the race area. Race kit pickup is offered at planned pre-race locations including Oakville, Toronto and Georgina.
