2026 Rebecca Run for SMA
The 25th annual Rebecca Run for SMA takes place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, in downtown Newmarket, Ontario. This family-oriented event supports Cure SMA Canada and brings the community together at Fairy Lake for a morning of activity and celebration.
Participants can choose from several event categories:
- 5K Run/Walk: A timed race featuring a scenic route with official results provided.
- Kids' Fun Run: A short distance event tailored for children.
- Virtual 5K and Kids' Fun Run: Options for those who cannot attend in person to participate from any location and upload their results online.
In-person entries for the 5K include a souvenir run shirt, a finisher medal, and a personalized run bib for those registered by June 22, 2026. Participants in the Kids' Fun Run receive a finisher memento and a bib. All on-site attendees have access to the post-run party and festivities.
Run kits can be collected at the Newmarket Running Room on Friday, July 3, or at Fairy Lake on the morning of the event. Virtual participants receive their kits via domestic shipping, which includes a souvenir shirt, medal, and a digital finisher certificate.
