Rebecca Run for Spinal Muscular Atrophy

Rebecca Run for Spinal Muscular Atrophy is an annual fundraising run held at Fairy Lake Conservation Area in Newmarket, Ontario. The event offers both in person and virtual participation and includes individual and team registration, training programs, and volunteer opportunities.

The 2026 edition took place on July 4 as the 25th anniversary edition. A total of 375 participants joined in person and virtually, including 275 who ran in person. Participants and supporters raised a total of 161 000 dollars for Cure SMA Canada to support programs and services for individuals and families affected by spinal muscular atrophy. The event took place despite rainy weather on the day.
