Georgina Marathon and Half-Marathon
The Georgina Marathon and Half-Marathon take place in Georgina, Ontario on September 13, 2026. The event offers multiple certified distance options that run along the south shore of Lake Simcoe and start at De La Salle Park.

All courses are Athletics Canada certified; the marathon is a Boston qualifier. The route is an out-and-back along Lake Drive North with the marathon completed as two loops and the half marathon and 5 km as single loops. Organizers describe the roads as flat, fast and scenic with shade and lakeshore views.
Aid stations are positioned approximately every 2.5 to 3 km and supply water and an electrolyte drink. Pace groups are provided for a range of target finish times. Strollers and dogs are not permitted on the course. All finishers receive a custom T-shirt and a medal. Participation is subject to waiver conditions which must be completed before race kit pick up.
Advance race kit pick up is offered at locations in Lindsay, Toronto and Georgina; a VIP race day kit pick up option is also available. Parking at De La Salle Park and the Red Barn lot requires a pre-purchased VIP parking pass. Free overflow parking is provided at nearby lots with shuttle service to the race area.
