Georgina Marathon

Georgina Marathon and Half-Marathon takes place in Georgina, Ontario, about an hour north of Toronto, with start/finish at De La Salle Park in Jacksons Point. Runners choose from marathon, half-marathon, 10km, or 5km distances. The Boston-qualifier marathon and Athletics Canada-certified half and 10km routes run along the south shore of Lake Simcoe on a flat, fast out-and-back course; the marathon is two loops, the others one.

The course features shade, scenic lakefront views, and on-course cheer stations with music and an alligator mascot. Aid stations are every 2.5–3 km. Finishers receive a technical shirt and medal, with a festive, community atmosphere. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
