Georgina Marathon & Half-Marathon
Located in Georgina, Ontario, this event features fast and flat courses along the south shore of Lake Simcoe. Situated 45 minutes north of Toronto, the races start at De La Salle Park in Jacksons Point. Runners follow Lake Drive North on an out-and-back route that provides significant shade and views of waterfront properties.
The event offers four different distances:
- Marathon (Boston Qualifier)
- Half Marathon
- 10km
- 5km
The marathon, half marathon, and 10km routes are Athletics Canada certified. The marathon course consists of two loops, while the half marathon and 5km distances are completed in a single loop. Pace bunnies are available for the marathon and half marathon to assist runners with specific finish times.
Aid stations providing water and electrolyte drinks are positioned every 2.5 to 3 km along the course. There is a total course cut-off time of 6 hours for all events. All finishers receive a custom race t-shirt and a medal. Due to narrow roads and insurance requirements, strollers and dogs are prohibited.
