Georgina Marathon & Half-Marathon 2026
The Georgina Marathon and Half-Marathon take place along the south shore of Lake Simcoe in Georgina, Ontario. All events start at De La Salle Park and follow an out-and-back route on Lake Drive North along a quiet, shaded road. Distances offered include:
- Marathon run as two loops
- Half Marathon run as one loop
- 10 km certified course (ON-2023-001-BDC)
- 5 km flat scenic route
The marathon, half marathon and 10 km courses are Athletics Canada certified, and the marathon is a Boston-qualifying course. Aid stations providing water and an electrolyte drink are located approximately every 2.5 to 3 km. On-course support includes music from local stations and cheering stations; a mascot will also be present along the route.
All finishers receive a custom Georgina Marathon T-shirt and a medal. Advance race kit pick up is available at specified locations in Lindsay, Toronto and Georgina. VIP parking passes are limited; overflow parking lots are served by shuttle buses on race day. Transfers between registrations are allowed until September 1 for a CA$5 administration fee. If the event is canceled due to a government or public health order or other acts of God, a virtual option will be offered; refunds and deferrals are not provided.
