Timber24
Timber24 is a 24 hour trail running festival presented in Barrie, Ontario and hosted at Hardwood Ski and Bike in Oro Medonte on August 22-23, 2026. The format pairs continuous trail running with on-site services and event amenities.
Teams are formed in groups of 8, 4, 2, or 1 in the Ultra category. One runner begins an 8 km lap each hour for 24 hours, so each team will collectively cover 192 km during the event.
On site, a tent village provides space for teams to set up. The event includes a retail and expo area, 24 hour food and beverage service, and complimentary morning coffee and hot chocolate. Entertainment and communal activities include outdoor games, movie nights, and campfires. A physio and massage village offers 15 minute treatments with sign up in person.
A Timber24 Beer Garden operates Saturday evening and after the race. The festival emphasizes communal aspects and shared experience among trail running participants while the relay format organizes continuous hourly laps on the course.
