Event
Timber24 is a 24 hour trail running festival in Barrie, Ontario on August 22-23, 2026. The event is held at Hardwood Ski and Bike in Oro Medonte. Teams run together in a relay format so the team total distance is 192 km. Each lap is 8 km and one team member starts a lap each hour for 24 hours. Teams may enter with eight members or four members (ultra).
Features and logistics
The event includes an on-site tent village where teams set up space beginning Friday afternoon. There is a retail and expo area with essentials and event merchandise available during the event. Food and beverage service is available around the clock, and free morning coffee or hot chocolate is provided. A beer garden is open on Saturday evening and after the race.
A Physio/Massage village offers 15 minute treatments from a registered massage therapist or physiotherapist; participants sign up for time slots in person. The festival also includes backyard games, an outdoor movie night, campfires, and on-site camping. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
