Walkers can choose the 5K walk that starts in front of the Shrewd Outdoors building on Main Street and finishes at Longwood Park, following a town to park course alongside the running races. Parking is available at Longwood Park or downtown Salem..
The 2.50K loop starts and finishes at Christiansburg Rec Center, following the Huckleberry Trail with a midway turnaround for walkers. Registration is free and the first 250 registrants receive a commemorative Montgomery County 250 shirt.
